The mission of the Montrose Academic Booster Club is to recognize, promote and
publicize academic achievement in the Montrose RE-1J School District in
all grade levels.
Recognizing
Academic Achievement
The Academic Booster Club of Montrose accomplishes this
through publicly recognizing students in our district for their academic
excellence. Each school in the RE-1J district selects one student per
month to be the A+BC Student of the Month. These students are recognized
in the newspaper and at our Awards Ceremony. A+BC also recognizes high
school students who have GPAs of 3.7 or above with a letter or bar.
Promoting
Positive Academic Experiences
A+BC awards grants
to teachers and administrators in our district to promote positive academic
experiences. A+BC has awarded over $225,000 in grant money since its inception
in 1983.
